My bunso is no longer my baby, he’s now officially a TEENAGER. HAPPY 13th birthday, Bimb... THANK YOU to God, Our Father- He makes it possible for the 3 of us to LOVE each other unconditionally, trying to do so with humor & laughter, regardless of the trials & tears i wish i could have shielded my 2 from... we understand, appreciate & support our small family unit... and we remain grateful for blessings big & small. i haven’t posted much recently- but i had to share a video of Bimb on his birthday w/ all of you... And this was my chance to say i always try my best to be a good mom, BUT apart from my mom, nobody has ever loved & believed in me, in my imperfect totality the way my bunso does... My 2 sons are living proof- i continue to be blessed far more than a person deserves to be. i prepared the baked spaghetti & because i improvised, i have a new cheese sauce recipe i added to the meat sauce that i can share w/ all of you when we’re back in our home’s kitchen; Check made the barbecue, Ate Loida helped us order Bimb’s gelato birthday cake & she gave the cheese & cold cuts platter, and the staff here @sunset.aninuan brought in the carrot cake... we flew here from Boracay where we had a shoot for @theauhanaboracay more than 5 weeks ago, just the 3 of us, not realizing we’d reach bimb’s birthday, because had i only known... BUT we’ve been so affectionately cared for by @checkticsay, nurse @mizahlopez, and Randy AND this experience has only brought the 3 of us closer. this post would be incomplete without a birthday greeting for the other special person i also love & celebrate today, @chinitaprincess... #family
despite the uncertainty of today— isn’t it hopeful to know, our Father still managed to gift us with an awe-inspiring sunset? #faith ***nagkaubusan na ng damit- kuya’s shorts & mine were bought in Pure Gold, Calapan. Nakapagpalaba kami nung mga binili & i chose the most wearable shirts na baon namin, humiram ako sa kanila, house brand ng @thesmstore BALENO favorite ko kahit pwedeng night shirt na for me. Maganda ang quality ng his from @puregold_ph & matibay talaga ang BALENO. Habang gising pa ko if you have any questions, READY AKO. 😘
i’m 100% sure my boys & i have been away from home since March 1, we’re entering the 6th week of getting to know many kindhearted people... malalagpasan at babangon tayo sa pagsubok na pinagdaraanan ng buong Pilipinas, tuloy po ang #LABAN. yesterday, i had a severe allergic reaction to food (i’m owning it, alam kong bawal but i thought konti lamang won’t be bad)— bumagsak to 70/53 ang BP ko & expired na my EpiPen... couldn’t get a diphenhydramine shot because BP was too low... celestamine, a lot of water, and REST was our option. i had refrained from posting pics of where we’re staying but the owner & staff have been so KIND- they helped move some of my stuff to the beachfront room because the fresh sea air would help me recover faster. Sweets are supposed to help pag may allergens pa sa katawan, so they sent me fresh baked buco pie & Check has been making me turon saging w/ langka. (na super favorite ko)... ang ulam siguro, after 3 days na pag na tanggal na sa katawan ko yung food allergens that i consumed. Thank you to nurse Mona na nagpuyat para magbantay kagabi (she’s from Mindoro, works in NCR; na lock in kaya para syang guardian angel sa ‘min ni bimb.) Thank you kay ate Loida & her extended family; Madame Lexie & everyone na stay-in sa resort for the warm hospitality; and most of all Randy & especially Check, who kept my ate updated & my sons well fed... Bedrest po dahil nanghihina pa. God bless everyone. Have a peaceful Sunday.
