I was 21 when she stepped down. It is an understatement to say i didn’t have a traditional home life, and yes it did have an effect on my life’s choices. All my sisters have remained out of the spotlight & all have loving, long lasting marriages. I made my choices & in the area of my personal life- i’ve made my mistakes. But i NOW have a chance to be the best Mom possible. And that means also being a good provider, especially for Kuya Josh. Mom said: “Kristina, only be a public servant when you can live within the salary of an elected official and you’ve saved enough from your investments that it can supplement all your needs. That means you will need to simplify.” So that is the unvarnished truth- i know i have YEARS to go before Bimb is enrolled in a top ranked university, and i have even more years to work on the SIMPLIFICATION of the admittedly maarte pero matalino, maabilidad, at masipag na Kris.
