i hope you take time to swipe and read all the #JFK quotes. i grew up in a family where he was idolized... i shared numerous times how our Boston years were God’s gift-because for 3 years i lived with my dad & mom and experienced what “regular” family life was like. Most of all, God gave me the best gift- getting to know even for 3 short years what having a dad was like. This post is a reminder of what i witnessed, lived through, and most of all what values Cory & Ninoy Aquino instilled in me. The 1 thing i believe would make my dad smile in heaven now is that his bunso is learning to smile again. And she is so very GRATEFUL to be a Filipino. Faced with brutal psychological torture for more than 7 years, hindi sya naduwag at hindi sya sumuko. For my dad, even his 1983 assassination was a mission of DESTINY. CORY AQUINO continued his fight for freedom not for personal ambition but because my dad was her first, last, and greatest LOVE. Bilib na bilib ako sa mom namin because she sacrificed all for the one man whose name she proudly carried. i write of this now because the business betrayal i went through, followed by my autoimmune diagnosis in reality are small problems compared to what the 1 and a half year old, 4 year old, 7 year old, 12 year old, and 15-18 year old Kris had already survived. Hahaba na masyado if i chronicle my 20s and 30s... My point is i look back with no more anger. Continuing to carry hatred will contribute to the deterioration of my health. i promised my family- my lawyers and the 🇵🇭 justice system ⚖️ will have my full trust. My focus shall just be on my health, my sons, my faith and hopefully my work. I love you for reading this. God bless you. 💛

mahaba pa ang laban, pero hindi masamang magpasalamat. 1st time na kaming 3 lang, kuya josh, bimb, and me... naghanap ng mga kaibigan dito and thank God Alvin & Rochelle found us some of the kindest people. I praise God, the pediatrician, Dr delos Reyes checked bimb again- upper respiratory infection & bronchial asthma. No pneumonia, no fever, pero matamlay kasi maraming gamot na iniinom. Tinutulungan ako ni Check & Randy (from willie), ni ate Loida & her family, ni nurse Mona, and the very kindhearted Mayor of Puerto Galera, Mayor Rocky Ilagan. Maraming salamat sa staff ng resort na tinutuluyan namin (i’ll name the place & share pics pag okay na). And thank you sa mga taga Mercury na tumutulong talaga para mahanap ang maintenance na gamot ko. Sobrang mabait & welcoming ng mga taga Puerto Galera- sa lockdown na ito they have made us feel secure, welcomed & cared for. God bless you all. I pray for all our healthcare workers. Many have become my close friends & i salute their heroic efforts.
