My Ate encouraged me to find a “hobby” (she & pinky are super into crafting for RELAXATION)- so i said i’d TRY... i started reading up on MINIMALISM & creating a CURATED, SEASONAL CAPSULE WARDROBE (the way the French and other Europeans do it), plus i read SPARK JOY & tidying up, disposing of clutter, otherwise known as the #konmarimethod. That’s my rule for myself, whenever possible, i’ll read the book before watching the movie or the series of the author. 👓📚🖥 So we started to pre birthday clean: to share, totally remove to invite positive energy in, and i entrusted the special sale of my pre-loved bags & shoes to someone i know is a REAL FRIEND. #practical sige na nga by WE- nag fix po ako ng bags and my essential oils- the shoes sila na ang nagtuloy based on my instructions. #realistic But in the process it was giving me a sense of FREEDOM from the anxiety of what’s beyond my control. #peace We’re all learning that we should focus on 1 task at a time or else- nag su-sungitan na silang lahat- hindi ako yung sinusungitan but i can hear the talakan & i see the simangutan.. 1 more week siguro for my shoes. Or maybe 2? i’m letting go of a lot of my very high stilettos w/ no platforms and even those with a platform but are just too #tiisganda to be worth the risk (bawal na because of my balance problems that are now even worse, @loveluxebags posted some of them on her IG stories); i also chose which bags i most often used and which ones i couldn’t let go of, because they had special occasion memories. The bags i was comfortable saying farewell to are also posted. mahaba pa ang laban, pero hindi masamang magpasalamat. 1st time na kaming 3 lang, kuya josh, bimb, and me... naghanap ng mga kaibigan dito and thank God Alvin & Rochelle found us some of the kindest people. I praise God, the pediatrician, Dr delos Reyes checked bimb again- upper respiratory infection & bronchial asthma. No pneumonia, no fever, pero matamlay kasi maraming gamot na iniinom. Tinutulungan ako ni Check & Randy (from willie), ni ate Loida & her family, ni nurse Mona, and the very kindhearted Mayor of Puerto Galera, Mayor Rocky Ilagan. Maraming salamat sa staff ng resort na tinutuluyan namin (i’ll name the place & share pics pag okay na). And thank you sa mga taga Mercury na tumutulong talaga para mahanap ang maintenance na gamot ko. Sobrang mabait & welcoming ng mga taga Puerto Galera- sa lockdown na ito they have made us feel secure, welcomed & cared for. God bless you all. I pray for all our healthcare workers. Many have become my close friends & i salute their heroic efforts.
