1 of my closest friends @annebinay messaged me, it started with “i know you loved her...” Contacted Alvin immediately, he made the arrangements. @bincailuntayao & i are flying home because you’re there when a true friend will need to feel you can be counted on. In many ways this trip was my challenge to myself to not give up on my thyroid medication and force myself to walk and ignore when i start getting tired and just keep going. To others it may not be a big deal but for those who have thyroid issues you know it’s hard to adjust to the medication & being able to walk unaided w/ a backpack is an achievement. (2X nag escalator because we went to the wrong lounge). #nogoodbyes
