This picture is from 7 years ago, from 1 of the shore excursions we took while on a DISNEY CRUISE... nakakatouch, Jonathan, Gerbel, Bincai, the birthday boy @alvingagui are all still with kuya josh, bimb, and me. SENTI ang greeting na ‘to... 7 months ago when my initial health diagnosis seemed like a death sentence, the efficient, mataray, disciplinarian sa lahat, minsan snubero, pero mapagkakatiwalaan sa LAHAT ng bagay, my Alvin cried as inconsolably as Bimb did. Looking back now, my morbid sense of humor can appreciate, i saw the trailer of their “breakdown” scene when it’s really goodbye. yes, pwedeng sabihin alvin’s been with me for more than 14 years because malaki ang sweldo nya, generous benefits, plus he’s traveled everywhere with us. BUT i know it’s much more than that. he’s still here because we love him & he loves us. We are FAMILY. hindi ako madaling alagaan- for so long workaholic ako and wherever i was, nakatutok si alvin. that means habang lahat ng kaibigan nya puma party sa O Bar (or kung ano man ang equivalent 5, 10, and 15 years ago) we were at work: taping, shooting a TVC here or abroad, shooting a movie, or campaigning. yet to this day, pareho kami ng attitude- WORK IS A BLESSING at ang inumpisahan, tinatapos. Dedma sa pagod. Alvin is an integral, irreplaceable extension of me... lahat ng hindi ko kayang tutukan at gawin- sa kanya yun. Bago pa man umabot yung problema sa kin, nanguna na sya para hanapan nila ng mga posibleng solusyon. Alvin & Bincai lang ang perfect attendance sa lahat ng hospitalizations ko sa 🇵🇭, 🇺🇸, 🇮🇩, and 🇸🇬. in a world that showed me the ugly face of greed & betrayal, ALVIN is God’s gift because he is a reminder that compassion, trust, respect, and appreciation are reciprocated. Bimb said, although napa edit ko, his mama’s first love was an “alvin”- with no hesitation kayang kaya kong sabihin, time & trials have proven to me, i found my real and lasting love in our ALVIN who will celebrate his birthday on Sunday. (i posted this tonight because ka birthday nya si direk Chito Roño & Vic Sotto- para sure @alvingagui will get the spotlight all to himself.) We love you, alvin. FOR LIFE!

Kuya Josh has 2 songs of tito willie on repeat mode: Ikaw Na Nga and Kung Para sa ‘Yo. ate natchie took these videos of the 2 walking hand in hand this morning so i’d see kuya’s happiness. the material generosity from willie is much appreciated, pero ito po yung nagpatunaw sa puso ko bilang mama ni kuya josh, dahil ang super favorite nyang si tito willie— binigyan sya ng buong umagang bonding... sabay sila nag breakfast, nag walking, and nag swimming... it brings to mind this Maya Angelou quote: PEOPLE WILL FORGET WHAT YOU SAID, PEOPLE WILL FORGET WHAT YOU DID, BUT PEOPLE WILL NEVER FORGET HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. ngayon na uncertain ang panahon, lahat tayo may dalang kaba sa ating mga puso, seeing my panganay’s smile made me realize, when given the chance- let’s choose to love, choose to share, and choose to be kind. 🤍🤍🤍

mahaba pa ang laban, pero hindi masamang magpasalamat. 1st time na kaming 3 lang, kuya josh, bimb, and me... naghanap ng mga kaibigan dito and thank God Alvin & Rochelle found us some of the kindest people. I praise God, the pediatrician, Dr delos Reyes checked bimb again- upper respiratory infection & bronchial asthma. No pneumonia, no fever, pero matamlay kasi maraming gamot na iniinom. Tinutulungan ako ni Check & Randy (from willie), ni ate Loida & her family, ni nurse Mona, and the very kindhearted Mayor of Puerto Galera, Mayor Rocky Ilagan. Maraming salamat sa staff ng resort na tinutuluyan namin (i’ll name the place & share pics pag okay na). And thank you sa mga taga Mercury na tumutulong talaga para mahanap ang maintenance na gamot ko. Sobrang mabait & welcoming ng mga taga Puerto Galera- sa lockdown na ito they have made us feel secure, welcomed & cared for. God bless you all. I pray for all our healthcare workers. Many have become my close friends & i salute their heroic efforts.
