for so long i felt that by working hard i’d be living up to my mom’s expectations, and i wasn’t letting her down because MASIPAG ako... but health issues taught me that i shouldn’t always be in a hurry to “catch up” - these 2 pics were sent to me by my friend @jcbuendia_ from the enthronement ceremony of Japan’s Emperor Akihito, now succeeded by his son, Emperor Naruhito. His enthronement was attended a few weeks ago by President Duterte and Mayor Sara Duterte... in the pics you’ll see my mom actually waited for me to reach her. mom was in an Auggie Cordero, i was wearing an Inno Sotto- i remember because super binantayan ng mom to be sure balot na balot ako and subdued yung design- there was an evening banquet and i wore a fuchsia gown that was more me 💗💓💞... my mom made my wish come true, she asked the King and Queen of Belgium, who by then had become her friends to please introduce me to Princess Diana. mom was fluent in French so i’m pretty sure sinabi nya, “pasensya na your majesties, pero ang kulit ng bunso ko”... may CUTE kwento pa about a prince, yes GENUINE royalty, whom i had the pleasure of having afternoon tea with BUT i was still obedient then, my mom didn’t allow me to join him for dessert after the banquet and there was no way na makakatakas ako since my room was connected to hers and there was only 1 main door, remind me to talk about that merienda with a prince in a future vlog? Before so many memories crept into this post, i realize now, LIFE isn’t a race, each day should be embraced as a special gift... my sons are so UNDERSTANDING, i’m both provider & nurturer BUT when i asked what they wanted to do today, bimb said it was my turn because their Universal vip tour was mahal, so we should buy the cookware i like so all of us are HAPPY because they’re not spoiled and they also want to take care of me. Sorry kung senti, pero nanghihinayang ako na hindi naabutan ng mom how LOVING her baby’s 2 sons are. She’d have seen her patient, unconditional love for me turned out to be very fruitful. #family

mahaba pa ang laban, pero hindi masamang magpasalamat. 1st time na kaming 3 lang, kuya josh, bimb, and me... naghanap ng mga kaibigan dito and thank God Alvin & Rochelle found us some of the kindest people. I praise God, the pediatrician, Dr delos Reyes checked bimb again- upper respiratory infection & bronchial asthma. No pneumonia, no fever, pero matamlay kasi maraming gamot na iniinom. Tinutulungan ako ni Check & Randy (from willie), ni ate Loida & her family, ni nurse Mona, and the very kindhearted Mayor of Puerto Galera, Mayor Rocky Ilagan. Maraming salamat sa staff ng resort na tinutuluyan namin (i’ll name the place & share pics pag okay na). And thank you sa mga taga Mercury na tumutulong talaga para mahanap ang maintenance na gamot ko. Sobrang mabait & welcoming ng mga taga Puerto Galera- sa lockdown na ito they have made us feel secure, welcomed & cared for. God bless you all. I pray for all our healthcare workers. Many have become my close friends & i salute their heroic efforts.
