in less than 6 hours we’ll be saying goodbye to 2019, and welcoming 2020... the sunset to dusk time period was breathtaking because it reminded me that everything God created is majesticically beautiful. i was pretty much bedridden since the day after Christmas, finally felt strong enough today to have late lunch in kuya josh’s favorite restaurant. i pray wholeheartedly for much better health & healing for our whole family, and that we’ll all be united again, able to put the past behind us, and focused in taking care of each other, expressing unconditional love, respectful understanding, and unwavering loyalty. to quote some favorite lyrics: “How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got? My BP went haywire because i had a migraine attack & was throwing up nonstop. Thank God @ging.md is also here because after 2 days of bedrest & recalibrating of the dosage of my medicines, i’m better... so happy bimb was able to enjoy being a regular 12 year old - kuya & he have had so much fun bonding w/ their new friend. #family #grateful #blessed
For the 2nd night, pinagbigyan nila ko, soon as we arrived i ordered Christmas jammies for us... (“ugly sweaters” coming tomorrow- ayaw pong magpaawat. i combined @krislifekit LOVE & LUCKY, our glasses are from @owndaysph 😘💋👓) I read this quote more than 20 years ago, and it still resonates, “FRIENDS are the FAMILY we got to choose for ourselves.” With us in our pics are of course Bincai, and our “family” here in Orange County, Gary & Veronica. i ordered a few pillows from AMAZON - this full body hug pillow is awesome; king sized memory foam with extra filling for you to create your level of firmness are the best; plus some weighted blankets that they said will give you a feeling of a warm hug. the residential unit in our hotel has a good kitchen, nice club lounge w/ great coffee, a lot of milk, yogurt, and all day snacks, but no onsite washer/dryer. we did the best we could to sanitize our pillows & pillowcases- by steaming them at the highest possible setting and i made an all natural essential oil infused disinfecting spray. .. 🎄nagawan ko ng paraan- hindi na malamig ang pasko. 😍🥰😘😊 hotels & resorts sana will offer pillow menus- ang sarap ng tulog ko, the boys went to a lobster & seafood restaurant for a late lunch, bawal ako so i stayed & rested- i’m sure humihilik ako from 2 PM to 8:30 PM our time. Later, i’m excited, we’ll drive to an outlet with a lot of stores for cookware, plates, serving platters etc... ramdam ko i’m almost 100% me again because enjoy na enjoy na kong mag experiment ng new recipes & it’s fun & comforting to be in the kitchen creating yummy food for my extended family. First time for us to try @allnipponairways_official for a flight to North America. ✈️🇵🇭🇯🇵🇺🇸 They’re getting a post because they didn’t charge me for the 2 pcs of excess luggage we had 😍🥰😘... yes, i know papunta pa lang kami 🤷🏻♀️ but super ginawin ako so layering galore and as you can see, i gave birth to 2 giants so their clothes & shoes take up a lot of space! 🎅🏼🎄❤️💚💛

after Mass, a belated birthday dinner for bincai & gerbel. sorry, medyo maputla pa ko, (now you know why wala masyadong posts) i’m still adjusting to my hormone therapy, vitamin D, iron, and other supplements to help me reach a more ideal weight, cure my being anemic, and God willing become healthier & stronger by the time we welcome 2020. Sharing this because it may help other women; i’m starting to sleep better, and now feeling much more positive because we’re addressing both my hormonal & autoimmune issues... for all women, moms especially- we take care of so many people we love BUT for us to be able to keep giving them our 100% we should also prioritize self care. If we love them, it’s not at all selfish to also love ourselves to make sure they’ll have the healthiest, most complete versions of us.❤️❤️❤️
